Week 8 November 21 and 22

Well, this week was pretty short. We only had 2 days of work before breaking for Thanksgiving. The first day we spent at the facility doing more cleanup and organizing. Wood posts were sorted and the rotten ones chopped up. T-posts were sorted and crooked ones taken out. I think we definitely made an impact and made it look much nicer.

Another task we had was using the chop saw to prepare wood stakes for future planting sites. It was fun to use!

The second day we were sent back out to the La Salle site to seed and then spread straw. We got pretty far along til mid-day when the other crew got there. Then we blasted through the last half of the site and got it finished. Straw was everywhere and got in everything, but it was still fun !
